Toyota HSD Technology in 3D at the Paris Motorshow 2010

It’s the final week of the Paris Motorshow where our 3D presentation of Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive has screened to thousands of visitors. It is also showing in the famous Le Rendez-Vous Toyota Showroom on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées.

The film is a visual tour of Toyota’s Hybrid technology, presented by ‘Bob’, a friendly guide and tech expert. A three-day greenscreen shoot was required to capture Bob’s narration and choreographed so that he would interact with a complex, computer-generated 3D environment. Other photographic elements included Toyota’s custom-built demonstration tandem bicycle and physical cross-section Auris, which were shot separately and later combined with cgi.
